We may stumble at the word enemies. But it's in the Bible. God takes it personally when people turn away from Him. We live in a day when few people will speak of God's anger toward sinners. We risk being called intolerant if we suggest that God has any enemies. Yet He does. Those who turn away from Him are His enemies. Those who fight against His truth are His enemies. Those who attack His people are God's enemies.

God sticks up for His own, God fights against His enemies, and God doesn't bless His opposition. Against the moral relativism of this day, we must plainly say that not everyone is going to heaven. Not everyone is a child of God. Not everyone will be saved. Many will, but many won't.

Psalm 68:1-2 uses three words to describe what happens to God's enemies.
